As I’m finding myself hip-deep in scholarly articles I need to read and synthesize into a Literature Review, writing technique is weighing heavily on my mind. Formal writing is not my strong suit, but this class is mandatory, so I need to brush up on my writing skills and APA citation protocols. Coincidentally, I ran across this wonderful infographic, courtesy of HubSpot on the correct use of an exclamation point! The article I found it in was written by Beth Dunn. And yes, I’m guilty of being over-enthusiastic in my use of the exclamation point.

The infographic is a guide to the use, and misuse of this punctuation mark. It’s really well designed, and if you don’t read through it and have a full grasp of its appropriate use, well, then shame on you!
