I just made a recording with Camtasia describing the decisions that went into the development of an eLearning course I created for one of my graduate Instructional Design courses. I detail the development process and walk the viewer through the Gear and Clothing section of my course, “Prepare to Hike Your First 14’er”.

The class gave us a taste of Instructional course development from the analysis phase, to learning objectives development, design documentation, and course creation. We used Adobe Captivate to create the course and developed the course entirely from scratch, not using any of Captivate’s preset features.

It was a challenge to work with such an extensive software program like Captivate for the first time, but I’m happy with the results and thought I would share the project.
